The information we collect and how we use it
Within the site, we may ask you to provide us with relevant personal information in order that we can provide you with the product or service requested, undertake administration and generally service and maintain your policy, including responding to any query that you may raise with us.

This means that we will only send you such information if you have agreed it is OK for us to do so. Once you have opted-in you can simply opt out again by calling us. If you choose to opt-in we may contact you by post, telephone, fax, email. Regardless of whether you opt-in or out we will continue to inform you about important changes to the terms under which your account is operated.
For your protection, any telephone calls to our Service Centre may be recorded and may be monitored.
How we protect your information
We capture your payment information, such as credit card details, over a secure link using recognised industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which encrypts the data whilst passing it over the web. This will be indicated on most browsers by a padlock in the status bar.
Firewalls are used to block unauthorised traffic to the servers and the actual servers are locked in a secure location, which can only be accessed by authorised personnel.

On the proposal form this cookie identifies your website visit through the multiple pages of the proposal form. The form cannot work without this cookie in place.
On the customer log in page it records your account details so the other pages can show the data appropriate to you like your PDF policy documents, for example. The account management process cannot work without this cookie in place.
2) Performance cookies
On the home page this cookie records which of our affiliate websites you may have visited from for the purpose of marketing.

On every page these cookies collect anonymous, aggregate statistics using the Google Analytics service to view, for example, visitor numbers, country of origin, most popular internet browsers, popular pages, average time spent on pages etc for the sole purpose of improving the website in the future.
